Oklahoma Pediatric Therapy Center is named Top Workplace
Deanna Williams had a big idea for a pediatric therapy center on a piece of paper with crayons and shared it with her best friend Dr. Amanda Housh. Together they have created an organization with now over 90 employees, guided by a faithful mission: to serve Christ by providing pediatric therapy.
Oklahoma Pediatric Therapy Center (OPTC), a leader in pediatric physical, speech, occupational and behavioral therapy services announced today that it has been recognized as a Top Workplace for 2021. OPTC also received the award for company values and placed third in the small company category.
“When you take care of your employees and their families, your employees take care of your business and the families that come in it,” said Deanna Williams, CEO/Co-founder.
The selection was based on an employee-based feedback survey conducted by Energage. This survey measured company leadership, career opportunities, compensation, benefits and work environment. Each OPTC team member completed the survey anonymously and received an opportunity to leave personal feedback.
“I love the family centered culture, open communication, and prioritization of what is best for our employees and the families we serve,” said Brittany Houck, PT, Physical Therapy Director.
OPTC’s ranking will be featured in The Oklahoman Top Workplaces special section on Sunday, December 12th. Oklahoma Pediatric Therapy Center will be recognized during the Top Workplace event hosted by The Oklahoman at The Criterion in downtown Oklahoma City on Thursday, December 9th, 2021.
