Our newest OPTC team member is here!
Meet: Judy G. Hassoun, CFY-SLP
Finding perfect, new additions to our OPTC family is one of our favorite things! We are thrilled to announce our newest team member, speech therapist Judy Hassoun.
Judy is a resident of Oklahoma City and has the Thunder pride to match. She received her Speech-Language Pathology degree from the University of Central Oklahoma and has favorite memories of pizza, libraries, friends, and exams- in that order! Throughout school she worked as a behavior interventionalist with an individual diagnosed with Autism in order to increase independence in everyday activities. “I truly love working with the pediatric population because I love to see kids grow in all aspects! I believe kids have a sense of wonder and enthusiasm for play and learning, which has a positive effect on all those who work with them!”
We are so proud to add team members with Judy’s enthusiasm for helping kids.
Get to know more about Judy below:
Do you have any unique or professional talents, awards?
- I recently received the Ruth Smith Memorial Award from the University of Central Oklahoma however; I would say my all-time greatest talent is that I am an AWESOME online shopper!
What is your favorite thing to do after work or on a long weekend?
- My favorite thing to do on a long weekend is hang out with my family and friends. Whether it’s going to the movies, having a fun picnic in the park or just hanging at home, creating fun and exciting memories with the people I care about is all that matters!
Do you have any pets?
I sadly don’t have any pets, but my friends dog Tucker is my favorite ever! (Would love to adopt a dog one day when I’m ready!)
What is something your really good at that is surprising or that not a lot of people know about?
- I am surprisingly good at remembering people’s names and quoting random movies or song lyrics!
If you can say one thing to the entire team what would it be? What about to your future patients and their families?
- I am super excited to meet everyone, and I cannot wait to see what OPTC has in store in the future!
